Therefore, British nutritionists advise to switch to home cooking and exclude the use of semi-finished products.
As a substitute, scientists suggest the Mediterranean diet, which is based on chicken, fish, eggs and legumes. It is desirable to cook food with olive oil. These foods fill the body with energy and protein. It is also important to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables in the diet, as they save from dehydration. At the same time, vegetables should be consumed more than fruits, but it is better to give up potatoes.

Cambridge nutritionist Linda Foster told about five products that will brighten life after self-isolation and help to quickly lose weight. These are grapefruit, broccoli, peppers, salmon and spinach. Their complex inclusion in the menu will give the body the necessary reserve of vitamins, improve metabolism and promote calorie burning.
In addition to the five important products, there are a number of other golden rules of the diet. One of the key is the abundant use of water – about two liters a day. You can alternate water with tea or coffee. But from alcohol, try to completely abandon alcohol for 14 days, when you come out of the isolation mode.
It’s not just in Russia that alcohol sales skyrocketed during the quarantine. British studies speak of similar statistics, so two weeks will have to be patient, and then you can carefully drink a glass of wine at dinner two or three times a week.
Stress under control
Try to keep your stress levels under control. In the nearly three months of quarantine, everyone has been stressed out a lot and read the horrible news about the spread of the virus indiscriminately. People are used to drowning out stress with delicious food: chocolate, chips, fast food. And these are all huge amounts of calories!
Try to allocate time during the day for yourself to enjoy and forget about worries. It can be reading a book, playing sports, meditating or watching your favorite show. Following simple rules, you will be surprised how your body and psychological state will change.
Examples of quality breakfast, lunch and dinner
The first meal can consist of one boiled egg, a piece of toast, half an avocado and half a grapefruit. An alternative could be an omelette of one egg with spinach and finely chopped red peppers.
For lunch, British nutritionists advise eating a salad with bacon, avocado and greens. All this is better dressed with lemon juice and seasoned with black pepper.
A quality dinner can include baked fish with basil leaves, tomato and mozzarella cheese. It is recommended to add steamed vegetables as a side dish for richness of flavor.
If you follow the diet for two weeks, it is quite possible to lose weight in time for the summer, which is not yet lost. And given the gradual relaxation of quarantine measures, there is a chance to approach the beach season in full readiness.
