How much does it cost to do sambo in Moscow

Choosing a club for your child is an incredibly difficult task. A variety of factors must come together: usefulness, interest, convenience and accessibility. Some people change a lot of sections, and someone is a little more lucky and they immediately get into the right one.

Initially I was not familiar with this sport, but I always understood that the realities of life are such that a boy must be able to stand up for himself, and later – for loved ones. Sambo is now a popular sport, and there are even federal programs aimed at the development of boys. For example, there is the All-Russian project “Sambo to School”. After we familiarized ourselves on the Internet with how the training takes place, what is included in the process, we decided to choose this section. My son did not object.

“Sambo to school”

An educational and sports project aimed at promoting the national sport of sambo in Russian schools. It unites about 2,500 schools and 375,000 students. Within its framework, mentors are brought up, the quality of the training process is monitored, and sports halls are equipped with the necessary equipment.

Equipment

Shorts or pants, a T-shirt and socks are enough for the first time. Later you will need a jacket for wrestling – sambovka, shorts and specialized shoes – wrestling shoes. At competitions the same uniform is used as in training. Only the colors of jackets differ, they are red and blue.

The average cost of all equipment will be about 5 thousand rubles. Will still depend on the chosen brand and store. For example, the form from “Krepysh” or “Bravegard” is much higher in price. Less well-known brands on Ozon or Wildberries can be bought cheaper, but there is already a question of quality.

Classes

We go to the Sambo School, where a monthly subscription costs 5.5 thousand and includes four classes a week for two hours. Together with other kids we sometimes go to the swimming pool, but the sums there are insignificant. The determining moment in choosing an institution was the contact between the child and the coaching staff, without which there is no full-fledged work.

But there are other places for classes. In the Central Administrative District, the cost will vary from 6 to 8.5 thousand a month, on average three trainings a week for an hour or an hour and a half.

Competitions and fees

The starting fee for competitions ranges from 700 to 1500 rubles, sometimes going up to 2 thousand. We have been to training camps once and plan to go again, because it is an immersion into the sport, which requires a tremendous amount of work on the part of both students and coaches. Their cost at our school is from 10 to 20 thousand rubles, from 5 to 10 days respectively.

It turns out that in a normal month on the hobby of my son spend 5.5 thousand, which go to pay for a season ticket. The rest of the expenses are non-permanent.

Such a hobby is a joint work of the child, coach and, of course, parents. Support your athletes, believe in their success, and then they will definitely practice with pleasure and sincere zeal.
