Training with an athlete: Moth and Tarasov play soccer

Amateur and professional sports are very different, but everything changes when the serious soccer battles subside and the field is left with two good friends, a few balls and one goal.

SOCCER FROM AN AMATEUR’S PERSPECTIVE

Celebrity guest: Black Star artist Mot

– Why soccer?

Mot: At the age of 10, my best friend showed me a couple Real Madrid matches. I profaned. The next day he took me to the soccer section in Krasnodar. At the first training session I accidentally scored a goal in my own goal and realized that I will definitely not become a professional, but I definitely want to continue to go with this game in life side by side.

– What is the trick of amateur soccer? What is important to remember when you play not for the result, but for your own pleasure?

– The difference between an amateur and a professional is in the level of training. And in the salary (smiles). The thing about amateur soccer is that you leave your achilles and menisci intact, and your blunders and victories are not discussed by the whole country.

– Do you have any favorite soccer exercises?

– I’ve always been bad at chasing the ball. I still do not know how to do it and do not like it. I can not say about any exercises related to kicks and dribbling. The one who hit the crossbar the least number of times is the one who does push-ups (smiles).

– Are you on the field and you in life similar to each other? Or are you two different people in sports and on stage?

– Sports and stage are very similar. You have to be an ardent workaholic if you want to achieve high results, not to spare yourself and to be creative. I think that if I had gone to the soccer section from childhood and set myself the goal to play at a professional level, then the footballer Mot would be recognized as much as the artist Mot is now.

I would have written a special anthem for Loko.

– Do you have idols in the world of soccer – cult players, favorite soccer clubs?

– I am from Kuban, so I supported the club of the same name from childhood and went to the stadium with my friends in Krasnodar. My uncle is a railroader, so my sympathies for Lokomotiv have always been present too (I especially followed every match during the time of Loskov, Sychev, Pimenov). And finally, Real Madrid is the love of my life. At first I fell in love with the starry Galacticos, simply because at that time all the top players of the world played there. Then I was imbued with the philosophy and history of this “Royal Club” and I know that I will be rooting for it for the rest of my life, regardless of the names of the players, coach and president. In his latest track, “Dallas Angry Club” dedicated a couple lines to Real Madrid. “All their own at the Bernabeu.” Favorite player there right now is Isco. In great order!

– If one of your songs could become the anthem of FC Lokomotiv, what track would it be?

– Definitely not the song “At the bottom” (smiles). Let it be the song “Great”. Although for Loko I would have written a special anthem.

– How long have you been friends with Tarasov and how did this friendship start?

– He invited me to perform at a corporate party, it was about five years ago. At that time I was not a Black Star label artist yet, I was just writing for myself and putting songs on the Net. Who would have thought then that a few years later he would be a witness at my wedding.

– Continue the sentence, “For me, soccer is…”

– The best ball game in the world!

FOOTBALL. POINT OF VIEW: PROFESSIONAL

Star guest: FC Lokomotiv midfielder Dmitry Tarasov.

– How long does a training session for professional footballers last?

Dmitry Tarasov: We have a fully scheduled cycle. It varies, but the closer the day of the game, the more intense the training is. In the middle of the week we have two days when the load is very high. For this purpose we have a special coach for physical training, who helps us to make a correct and balanced program.

– How often does FC Lokomotiv train?

– Now we have such a schedule that we have no days off at all. The maximum is one or two days once every two weeks. But a person can get used to everything, I personally have already gotten used to such a schedule and I am quite comfortable living in such a schedule.

– Does the team have a vacation between games and how do you spend it?

– The longest vacation we have in winter is the winter break, two or three weeks. I always try to go on vacation somewhere in warm countries, where there is a lot of sunshine, which is not so often in Moscow. I always visit the gym on vacation, sometimes run and combine all this with relaxation.

Soccer is the meaning of my life.

– What moments in your career were crucial and decisive for you?

– Since I’ve been playing in the same team for six years, it is, of course, the transition to Lokomotiv, to a big club – it is one of the most significant moments in my career. At first glance I didn’t earn many trophies here, but we won the Russian Cup. Also when there are national training camps – it is always a great pride and responsibility for me to play for my country. And from the nearest… On May 2, the Cup final – I think it will also be a very important day for me and for the team, because first of all it is an opportunity to get another trophy.

– At what age is it better to start practicing soccer?

– In my time, when I was young, it was much more difficult. Now soccer is developing: there are children’s and youth sections, and individual schools for very young kids, about 3 years old. But it seems to me that 3 years old is very early, but 6-7 years old is the right time to start practicing soccer.

– How often do you get to play soccer with friends?

– Very little time, but always when I have such an opportunity, I am very happy to meet and play. It’s a completely different atmosphere, friendly. Not so long ago we played at a friend’s place in the country, it’s a completely different feeling when you realize that after that you will have a sauna and a kebab waiting for you(smiles). But it rarely happens with my schedule.

– What about idols? Is there someone who has always been an example and motivator?

– When I was a kid, I had idols, now, of course, I don’t. Now I am at such a conscious age: I can point out my own mistakes, I can draw my own conclusions, and I consider it even wrong to imitate someone. In my childhood, it was Egor Titov at Spartak and Zinedine Zidane in his best years.

– Continue the phrase: “Football is…”

– The meaning of my life. Soccer is very important to me, that’s why I have given most of my life to it. No matter how things turn out, in any case I want to connect my life with the soccer structure.
