What to make with sausage?

“Sausage is a semi-finished product that cannot be part of a healthy diet. However, if you don’t have time to devote full time to cooking, consider raw sausages – simply put, stuffed intestines – the minced meat from them can be used for cooking.”

Whole wheat flour spaghetti with sausage and tomato sauce

Ingredients:

  • 200 g raw sausage (e.g. beef or chicken sausage);
  • 200 g spaghetti (try buckwheat or rice spaghetti if you have gluten tolerance issues);
  • 1 onion, finely chopped;
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced;
  • crushed tomatoes – 200-300 g;
  • 1 tsp. ghee oil;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation:

  1. In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti until tender, following the instructions on the package. Then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the ghee oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the raw sausage and fry it, breaking it into pieces, until fully cooked and golden crust.
  4. Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet, add salt and pepper to taste. Heat the whole mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for another five to seven minutes.
  5. Serve the spaghetti with tomato sauce.

Pizza on zucchini with sausage and vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 3 zucchini sliced into rings;
  • 200 g raw sausage;
  • 1/2 cup freshly cooked tomato;
  • 100 g soft white cheese;
  • 1/2 paprika, sliced into rings;
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced in rings;
  • salt, pepper and dried herbs (such as oregano and basil) to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Line a mold with parchment, grease with ghee oil and lay out the zucchini base.
  3. Brush the tomato sauce all over the surface.
  4. Take a frying pan, put a teaspoon of ghee oil on it and fry the raw sausage mince until cooked.
  5. Place the cooked minced meat on the zucchini base. Add onions, paprika, sprinkle with herbs, place slices of white cheese.
  6. Bake until ready.

Turkey sausage rolls

Ingredients:

  • High quality sausage (check that only turkey meat, salt, spices are included);
  • vegetables to taste for stuffing (cucumbers, sweet peppers, tomatoes, green olives);
  • white goat cheese with nuts or dried fruits;
  • legumes or hummus, tahini.

Preparation:

  1. Slice the sausage into thin slices.
  2. Place any filling in each slice.
  3. Enjoy the dish!
