The occupation of sport shooting my son chose himself, once trying his hand at the shooting range. I supported his idea for several reasons. Firstly, there was a coach, in whom the trust was formed, and my son had interest and strong motivation for training. Secondly, shooting is a sport of smart, psychologically stable, thinking people. It forms the most demanded today qualities: the ability to think, to keep emotions under control, to calculate, to bear responsibility. Thirdly, an individual approach to training is important. A group of shooting athletes is no more than five people. To each ward, the coach devotes a lot of time.

Uniforms and equipment

To the form there are no specific requirements: everything according to the desire and budget of the family. A sports suit cost about 5 thousand rubles, about the same amount cost a set of thermal underwear. Prices for sneakers are also very different, we bought for 4.5 thousand.

Equipment and inventory provided by the school. Even a sports bag on wheels my son received a gift from the coach. It is difficult to name the exact amount. For example, boots, in which he is engaged, in stores cost from 25 thousand rubles, and a suit – from 80 thousand.

Clothing is updated as he grows and increases professionalism. Additional equipment, bag and gloves are changed in case of wear and tear. For two years of training, we have not changed anything.

Shooting first of all teaches concentration and self-confidence. A child acquires a completely different level of responsibility, because he has a weapon in his hands. Of course, safety is also taught. Afterward, children become a little bit more mature. When you give your son or daughter to any sport, it is necessary to understand it. It is the same in the shooting section: parents should understand what the child plans to do, study all the peculiarities and be the main supporter.

Ekaterina Sosnitskaya: there are three training sessions a week. For a monthly subscription you have to pay 5 thousand rubles. Competitions cost from a thousand rubles and more. It all depends on the distance of the trip and the number of days. In a month on the hobby of my son spends about 7 thousand rubles. The main part of the amount is payment for training.
