“The Hulk’s girlfriend”: what one of the most muscular female bodybuilders looks like

Once fragile Natalia Kuznetsova weighed 40 kilograms. But once she sacrificed femininity to professional bodybuilding. This choice the girl made consciously and does not regret it at all. We tell you how the athlete came to such a muscular physique and how such large muscles can harm health and quality of life. Andrei Semeshov, wellness coach and expert of “Championship”, helps us in this.

Who is Natalia Kuznetsova?

Natalia Kuznetsova is a Russian athlete who at the age of 26 became a professional powerlifter, bodybuilder and Master of Sport International Class in deadlift and armlifting. The girl can lift weights that men can envy: 165 kg chest press and 240 kg deadlift. The sportswoman has set three world records in deadlift and bench press and became the owner of 12 European and national records in these disciplines.

With a height of 168 cm, the Russian bodybuilder weighs 90 kg, the volume of her biceps is 47 cm, hips – 72 cm, waist – 76 cm. The girl used the services of a plastic surgeon, explaining that female breasts cannot be pumped up in the gym. Kuznetsova believes that girls who try to do this are doomed to failure.

Life outside of sports

Natalia is married, with her lover Vladislav Kuznetsov they met in “Odnoklassniki”. He is also an athlete, master of sports in freestyle wrestling. According to the bodybuilder, she does not care that her spouse has biceps smaller than hers. Now the couple not only trains together, but also conducts a joint business in the field of catering.

Director Dmitry Polyanitsyn in 2017 decided to make a documentary about Natalia, which has already been released.

Kuznetsova managed to conquer and theatrical scaffolding. She participated in the production of “Manon Lescaut” at the Bolshoi Theater together with the star Anna Netrebko and her husband. The director Adolf Shapiro decided to introduce into the opera the image of a muscular woman who would symbolize strength and the desire not to give up.

Why is Natalia Kuznetsova’s example far from a healthy and positive public attitude?

Andrei: Personally, I do not approve of two phenomena: “bodypositive” and attempts to impose standards of appearance on everyone.
But by body-positivism I mean appeals from the series of “give up on yourself, be fat and don’t even try to be the way you like better”.

The principle of “my body is my business” is one of the few where we can afford to be utterly selfish without noticeable, with few exceptions, harm to society. How we look – or want to look – should be all about us. And trying to imitate patterns will not lead to anything good. Only to nervous breakdowns and running in a vicious circle of “stupid diet – gluttony – stupid diet number 2 – gluttony”.

Only by finding something of your own in any sphere, you can achieve harmony. Speaking about the figure, the worst idea is to try to “buy” a body from Instagram, blindly copying scraps of information. Here you can not come to an expensive boutique, take off the rack suit and then flaunt it at social gatherings. Alas, sit on the figure of someone else’s standard of appearance will not. Yes, it can be tied up, pinned with pins, but right behind the threshold of the store such beauty will inevitably fall apart. Want to change the appearance – will have to master two professions – and the designer and dressmaker to get an outfit just for you. Or go directly to a professional – a trainer, nutritionist. In the first case you will have to spend more time, in the second case – money. But the effort is worth it.

Natalia Kuznetsova has obviously found a “design” and “style” that meets her inner needs and aspirations. This is quite far from what is considered the “norm”. Surely a girl has to deal with negativity in her life. We are so organized that at the level of instincts we try to reject the alien, out of the general mass. It takes a lot of courage to literally fight for your right to “wear” the appearance you want.

Of course, I highly doubt that many female readers of “Championship” will be inspired by Natalia’s example. However, those who see the sense in it for themselves should carefully weigh everything. This is an example from professional sports, which has very little to do with health and wellness. By the way, this is equally true for men. Extreme muscle volumes and a low percentage of fat tissue – absolutely not physiological for our body. No one can achieve such results without consequences, the price of which can be unpleasantly high. No matter how glossy and cool it looks on social networks.
