The eternal struggle: how singer Kelly Osbourne lost 40 pounds again

British singer Kelly Osbourne has felt the increased attention from the media since childhood. Now the daughter of the legendary rebel Ozzy Osbourne is 35 years old, and all this time journalists and fans have been following not only her creativity, but also the difficult history of the struggle with excess weight. Kelly more than once launched herself, then came into shape, but after again broke down and rapidly getting fat.

Recently, the singer said that again lost weight by 40 kg, and even revealed the secret of the miraculous transformation.
So what helped the epathetic star to get rid of the hated kilograms?

Dancing and refusal of fast food

Problems with excess weight at Kelly began in adolescence. At the age of 16, she weighed 90 kg at a height of 160 cm. Because of the fullness of the girl was often subjected to ridicule, and even her father did not hesitate to make jokes about the appearance of his daughter:

In 2005, Kelly voluntarily went to a rehabilitation center, where she coped with psychological problems and decided to fundamentally change the way of life. From the “bad girl” Osbourne turned into a sophisticated young lady, and from the past life she had only a love of hamburgers and pizza. To change her eating behavior helped her to participate in the project “Dancing with the Stars”. Grueling training was given to Kelly very hard, and then her partner advised her to give up fast food, eat less flour and sweets, as well as to establish a sleep schedule. Simple advice helped the singer to get rid of 20 kg in just a few months.

“As soon as I changed my diet, dancing became much easier and the weight started to melt away. I didn’t even notice how thin I was getting. For the first time in my life I could look at myself in the mirror without disgust. I used to weigh 53 kg only when I took illegal substances, but it was a terrible experience,” – said Osbourne.

Breakdown and miraculous transformation

At the end of the project, Osbourne remained faithful to the acquired principles. She continued to eat right, dancing and Pilates, and also began to visit the gym regularly. To get rid of the extra centimeters in the waist, Kelly every day twisted a hoop. However, after a while, the singer again lost the miniature parameters. After parting with her fiancé Matthew Mosshart, the girl began to sharply gain kilograms. By 2017, her weight again passed the mark of 90 kg.

Fans were worried that it would be difficult for the pop diva to pick herself up again, but the fears were in vain. Recently, Osbourne stunned subscribers with photos in which she appeared in a new look. In response to enthusiastic comments from fans, Kelly wrote: “That’s right, I lost 85 pounds (almost 40 kg)”. The singer also admitted that she is happy to show off her new figure parameters, as she achieved the result thanks to hard work on herself.

The surgery is just the beginning

Kelly was in no hurry to tell how exactly she managed to regain her lost shape and become petite again. But in a fresh interview, the star still decided to reveal the secret. It turns out that two years ago she underwent surgery to reduce the stomach. In addition, Osbourne had injections in the jaw and chin.

“After the beautician’s work, people really started to notice that I’ve lost weight. I finally feel happy and confident. I’m not going to hide the fact that I had a gastric resection. Let them say anything they want about me, but it’s the best decision of my life,” says Osbourne.

At the same time, the singer warns that surgical intervention – only the first step on the way to slimness. The result can only be consolidated through proper nutrition and regular exercise. Kelly completely revised her diet, again cut out alcohol, fast food, flour and sweets from her life. In addition, 35-year-old Osbourne resumed active training and goes to the gym 5-6 times a week.
