“Vampires of the middle strip” (Russia, 2021-…)

Smolensk is no different from any other city of the middle strip of Russia, except for one “but”: here lives a family of vampires. They live in the local area for a long time, lead an unremarkable and quiet life, do not kill anyone and only occasionally drink blood. The idyll comes to an end when they begin to find exsanguinated people in the birch grove, and Smolensk is turned upside down.

“Vampires of the middle strip” – a great option to dispel stereotypes about domestic serials. The plot of the picture is characterized by originality, and the characters are spelled out in the best traditions of the genre.

“Chiki” (Russia, 2020)

Another Russian series that has collected a lot of rave reviews. In the picture there is room for both laughter and tears. The series is definitely worth watching if you have long been unable to find time for it. The cast will surely please you: in the main roles Irina Gorbachev and Varvara Shmykova.

Four sex workers from the south of Russia decide to quit their dirty work and open a fitness club. But the road to success is thorny, and the girlfriends will have to overcome many obstacles.

“Anne” (Canada, 2017-2019)

A series based on Lucy Maud Montgomery’s novel “Anne of Green Roofs.” After watching it, you will definitely be charged with summer mood: you will want to go to the nearest forest and will admire the nature.

The series plunges into the late XIX century and tells about a cheerful and perky orphan named Ann. She accidentally finds herself on Prince Edward Island and begins life with a new family. Amidst the breathtaking English scenery, Anne grows up, meets her love, and embarks on dangerous adventures.
