He, disappointed in life and sports, prefers to drink all the problems with strong alcohol. What is interesting, all the roles of young athletes are performed by current players of the youth league. Also in the series themselves played footballers Dmitry Tarasov, Anton and Alexei Miranchuki, Dmitry Barinov and Dmitry Loskov.

Sparkle (USA, 2017-…)

Here is everything: beautiful women, sparkling humor and…fights, because this series will tell you about women’s wrestling. It’s called Glitter or GLOW, which stands for Gorgeos Ladies Of Wrestling. Interesting fact: the recruitment of participants for the show was held in Barbarella`s Gym, the owner of which was Jackie Stallone (mother of Sylvester Stallone).

The canva of the series is typical for Hollywood: the dream of an acting career, grueling castings and failure. Except that the protagonist it led to wrestling. The girl made bright makeup, voluminous styling, dressed in spandex and sent to conquer the arena, and she did it perfectly.

Many characters in the series are written off from real women wrestlers. Thus, the image of Ruth “Zoe the Destroyer” creators were inspired by a real-life female wrestler, acting under the pseudonym Colonel Ninotchka. Life collides the two brothers when the quiet Lucas gets into Nathan’s basketball team. The latter is a high school star and belongs to the richest family in town. In “Gymnasts” touched and typical problems of teenagers: conflicts with parents, misunderstandings with the coach, problems in learning. But the main characters – professional athletes, which greatly distinguishes them from the usual teenagers: instead of partying – training, instead of guys – a strict coach, instead of girlfriends – competitors. By the way, the series is highly appreciated by critics: “Lights” has several solid awards, including an Emmy.
