5 beautiful places in the world that you better hurry up and visit

Many people often do not appreciate what they have until they lose it. This is also true for the unique corners of our planet that are in danger of disappearing. So if you’ve been waiting for the right time to take a trip, now is the time. We’ve put together a list of places to visit before climate change or crowds of tourists wipe them off the face of the Earth.

Dead Sea

Located at the lowest point of land on Earth in Israel and Jordan. The Dead Sea is actually a lake that is eight times saltier than ocean waters. It is called dead because there are almost no living organisms there. The lake is known for its healing properties – since ancient times noble people have been coming to this area to recover. However, when they came to this place, the lake was of considerable size, and now it is shrinking every year by one meter. Geologists suggest that the Dead Sea could already be gone by 2050. I’ve been to the Dead Sea and it’s an absolutely stunning place to dip your toes in the water for, even in February, which I did. The water was like olive oil. You literally lay on the surface effortlessly.

Belize Barrier Reef

Located in Central America near the country of Belize. Every year this place is visited by about 130 thousand tourists. Divers from all over the world come to see hard and soft corals, sea turtles and even manatees. But global warming, hurricanes and poachers are doing their part. And if with the latter began to fight together with the UNESCO organization, with natural cataclysms everything is much more complicated. In 1998, a hurricane hit the reef and destroyed almost half of it. And it became a natural disaster. If people can not take control of the current situation and the tourist industry will not stop dumping huge amounts of garbage into the ocean, there may be nothing left of the reef.

Maldives

A paradise place located in the Indian Ocean. Here it is always warm, the air temperature stays at about +30 all year round. Chic hotels, snow-white beaches and excellent service. In 2021, tourists from Russia took an honorable place in the attendance of the Maldives. But not everything is so rosy – the Minister of Environment of the Maldives said that the islands are threatened by global warming. The islands can go under water, as they are low enough. Predictions are disappointing – it could happen in as little as 80 years.

Tuvalu

The danger of sinking under the water column threatens another place – the state of Tuvalu. It is located in the Pacific Ocean. Tourists do not often come here, the state is rather exotic. There are no luxury hotels here, but the nature around, including underwater makes a lasting impression. Here you can go surfing, windsurfing, diving and snorkeling. But, like the Maldives, this place is in danger of disappearing.

Avlabari, Georgia

Anastasia: This once picturesque neighborhood of Tbilisi, located on the banks of the Kura River, is slowly disappearing from the maps. This was once the neighborhood of choice for the nobility. Now ordinary people live here. They wanted to build a fashionable neighborhood on the place of their houses, but the local authorities considered the price set by the residents for their houses to be too high. Therefore, the authorities took a different path and gave this neighborhood the status of a historic site. Now it is prohibitively expensive to make repairs in the house of this neighborhood, as it is necessary to apply to a special commission. Therefore, the houses are destroyed, killed also by earthquakes. Soon there will not be a single old building left of the neighborhood, so you have to hurry up.

This article told about the places that are better to go to in winter rather than summer.
