Set a goal

Sport is not necessarily something grandiose. Many people immediately imagine how every day they run 10 km or pump all muscle groups. But this is often not necessary. It’s important to define your goal instead of moving blindly. If you want to exercise to keep healthy, any physical activity will be enough: morning exercises, a small set of exercises, yoga – whatever you prefer.

Hope: When a person is engaged in raising energy, for example, jumping or dancing, afterwards he can do much more for himself. Often people don’t know how to manage their resources and don’t take care of their energy. Some can work non-stop and then be left with no energy at all. It is important to realize that daily exercise of any kind can keep a person in a resourceful state.

Take a conscious approach

To form a habit, it is important to approach each activity consciously. Try to explain to yourself why you are exercising, why it is important. Make conscious choices time after time until working out becomes a habit. Everyone’s pace will be different: a few weeks is enough for some, while others will need several months.

Don’t be fooled

Don’t try to substitute concepts: sport is not recreation, but a certain amount of exertion. Of course, it is a different kind of activity (e.g. compared to work), but it is still not a vacation.

Hope: Often people substitute concepts and pass off sport, for example, as recreation. In fact, it has nothing to do with rest. Despite the fact that a person can be filled with energy, feel differently, in any case it requires the expenditure of energy, so it is important to have it initially.

Judiciously assess your capabilities

Any change is a stress for the body. Therefore, it is important to support yourself and start with such loads that you can do.

Nadezhda: If a person has never exercised, then minimal physical activity is already a lot for him. It is important to realize that everyone has a different level of fitness.

Don’t compare yourself to others

Looking up to others and constantly comparing yourself to someone else is the last thing you should be doing. Often, after looking at fitness bloggers on Instagram, people start to evaluate themselves in relation to them. This is fundamentally wrong and highly demotivating. Everyone has a different physique, different physical and mental capabilities, so comparing yourself to others is pointless.

Choose an activity that is right for you

It’s important to listen to your body and not go against your will. Try to find workouts that work for you.

Hope: Most people are afraid to do anything because they don’t understand what they are doing and why. And now there are so many different types of physical activity: from martial arts to vegetative practices and body therapy, which are aimed at maintaining health without taking an excessive load. There are so many types of sports, it is important to familiarize yourself with them and choose the one that suits you.
