You can often hear about some electromagnetic waves hovering around, but what are they? How to protect yourself?

Electromagnetic wave – energy, which has a dual nature. On the one hand, it is an electric field that propagates in space at the speed of light, on the other hand – elementary charged particles.

Light visible to the eye is also an electromagnetic wave of a certain length. But in most cases they are invisible to us.

When a person gets into a zone of increased electromagnetic radiation, there are failures in the functioning of all organs and systems of the human body. Negative impact is experienced by the nervous, endocrine, immune, genitourinary systems of the body. Heart rate and blood pressure change.

It cannot be said that the electromagnetic field is always evil. It is known that it is used in physiotherapy to treat many diseases, to heal wounds, it has an anti-inflammatory effect, improves cellular metabolism.

But we are talking only about cases of strict control by doctors, in selected frequency ranges and in certain intervals of electromagnetic field intensity.

There is also household radiation: any device in the house or office emits electromagnetic waves or, simply put, is a source of electrosmog, which is a threat to health.

Electrosmog is a set of electromagnetic fields that affect a person in closed rooms. It is invisible, silent, odorless, yet ubiquitous.

Sources of radiation are all kinds of electrical appliances, electrical wiring, and the more powerful the device, the more aggressive the field. Bring your cell phone to a working radio – failures will begin, because some fields interfere with others.

In order to protect yourself, you should stay away from its sources. It is practical to have a cell phone handy all the time, but it is better to avoid it. Likewise, it is undesirable to have a TV in the bedroom on standby, because it still produces electromagnetic pollution.

Uninterrupted internet availability is also a problem. We recommend turning off your Wi-Fi router at least overnight. Just as with waves, shielding paint or fabrics, for example, for curtains, will help here.

Just a few simple steps can help you feel safer and avoid a whole range of health problems:

  1. Reduce the radiation from the source.
  2. Move away from the source by a distance.
  3. Shield the source of radiation and your workplace, use special paints and fabrics for curtains and furniture.
  4. Reduce time spent near sources. Remember to put your phone away at least temporarily.
  5. Maintain optimum relative humidity (not lower than 60%) and ionic composition of air in working areas.
