How I lost 45 pounds and what to do if you want to lose weight too

Losing weight so that it doesn’t come back on is often difficult. The author of the YouTube channel “Workin’ Things Out” knows this firsthand.

Over the years, the man has managed to lose a significant number of pounds several times, but they always came back. In August 2016, he decided to start a new life and try a new “diet” – proper nutrition and sports.

He documented his entire journey in vlogs, which only added to his motivation. You too can watch this almost personal diary on YouTube.

Start

Weight – 112 kg

“I don’t really have a specific plan on where to start. I decided to monitor my diet and workouts with an app. I’m going to start with walking and cycling. I can’t run yet – I’m starting to have back problems. But I think if I lose a little weight, I’ll continue my running workouts.”

Her daily diet includes yogurt, fruit, lean meat and eggs. The portions, however, are not modest yet, and the sauces – ketchup and mayonnaise – have not gone anywhere. Vitamins and protein cookies/bars are added to the diet.

Day 10

“I decided to try jogging. It’s not very long, but it feels like running a marathon.”

Lifehack: most meals, whether it’s turkey sausages or chicken steaks, are grilled. This way no oil is added to them, consequently reducing calories.

Gradually, training is also introduced into the daily activity. For example, with weights.

A month later

Theweight is 103 kilograms

“I’ve already lost over 20 pounds and I’m incredibly happy. I’m going to keep doing the same things and eating the same foods because it’s working. I’ve stopped marking everything on the app because I eat the same things, but I still check calories in new foods through it.”

I’ve even managed to make pizza with the right foods and have a cheat day. Sports nutrition has come into the diet to improve workout performance as well.

100 days later.

Weight is 88 kilograms

“I’m trying to give up coffee. I have a headache and I’m sure it’s because of it. But I’m having a hard time with it. One part of me says something like, “It’s bad weather today, you can afford a cup,” and the other part of me screams: “No! You’re not addicted to caffeine.”

The menu is still the same yogurt, chicken, and veggies. As snacks, protein bars. Cardio is daily walks.

One year later

Prepare to marvel at the incredible transformation and perseverance. For a year of an intensive weight loss program – a minimum of breakdowns, a maximum of walking and training.

Theresult didn’t take long to show up. On the scale – minus 45 kilograms. The muscles are clearly visible on the body. The skin, of course, after such transformations to bring in a decent look will not be easy. But we are sure that we can cope with it. We will follow the updates on the channel.
