How was the experiment conducted?

For 30 days the young man started every morning with 10 minutes of jumping rope. He wanted to see how his appearance would change if he did this exercise regularly but did not follow a diet. Although he leads a healthy lifestyle, the first few mini-exercises didn’t come easy for him. Therefore, he recommends starting with two sets of five minutes each.

What are the benefits of jumping?

Among the positive effects, the blogger noted the following:

  • increase in endurance;
  • useful load on the cardiovascular system (normalizes blood pressure and breathing rhythm);
  • loss of excess weight due to the expenditure of a large number of calories (about 900 kcal for one hour of training);
  • improved coordination;
  • increased respiratory capacity.

But do not forget that excessive stress on the cardiovascular system is harmful to it. People who have problems with blood vessels, heart, as well as ankle and knee ligaments, are not recommended to resort to such training. It can cause harm and aggravate old wounds and diseases. Do not immediately try to perform the exercise at a fast pace – increase it gradually from one workout to another.

What muscles are involved in jumping rope?

The main load is on the calf muscles (about 70% of the total load), quadriceps and thigh biceps, buttocks and forearms are also involved.

For 30 days of regular training the blogger managed to get rid of three centimeters in the waist and 1.5 kg of weight. And this is despite the fact that the guy had no problems with excess weight and did not adhere to a special diet plan. Probably, the extra pounds would “go away” more readily, and adjusting the diet would also enhance the effect. After all, everything is good in a complex.
