So far, their issuance has just begun and it is possible to go to work or on other important matters without hindrance. But already since April 15 it will be necessary to have a new document. Such strict measures are designed to stop the rapid spread of coronavirus infection in the capital. We tell you how to get a special pass, what it is needed for and whether your jogging in the woods or in a deserted park will suffer from it.

Why do you need a special pass?

Muscovites will soon need it for any trip by car, public transportation and cab. If you walk to the store, pharmacy, pull up on the yard bar or just walk your dog near your home, you will not need the document.

However, the authorities are already conducting random checks on people who go out without a specific purpose. If this is unfavorable, the police may issue a report or fine you.

In other cases, it is necessary to issue a one-time license, which will be valid for one calendar day. Such documents are also divided into two types. The first one is for traveling to medical institutions. It can be issued an unlimited number of times per week. The second – for any other purpose. For example, for trips to the countryside. It can be issued no more than twice a week.

An alternative option for obtaining a document – via sms. You need to send a short message to the number 7377. Its text will depend on the type of pass and your personal data. All the nuances of such registration can be found on the official portal of the mayor’s office.

For the issuance of certificates there is a single reference service of the Moscow government. It is necessary to call the number +7 (495) 777-77-77 and tell the operator all the necessary information. After that, he will dictate to you a code of letters and numbers.

Remember that special passes are needed only if the purpose of your trip is justified. And document forgery threatens with imprisonment for up to three years. Therefore, in all situations that do not imply vital necessity, it is better to stay at home and endure the difficult time of self-isolation.
