Since the main idea of the developers is to show the real world without embellishments, the application has some features. First, it promotes the trend of “Anti Selfies”, so you can’t switch to the front camera. Secondly, you can’t edit the photos before publishing. Now everyone will see wrinkles, irregularities or physiological features. Also in the application there are no hashtags and captions. You can only react to the publication by using emoji. Poparazzi also utilizes a trick that millions of Instagram users struggle with, namely viewing the number of followers each other has. In the new app, you can only observe the number of Pop (photos with your participation).

To test the social network, they chose to create viral content in another popular social network, namely TikTok. Already in a few days, the Poparazzi account gained 10 thousand users. Thanks to effective promotion, there were already 500 thousand requests for pre-installation by the official launch of the app.

Whether the new application will replace the much-loved Instagram or not, time will tell. But it is interesting that an entire program is being created, cultivating the value of its originality and uniqueness, despite the general trends and chips.
