Two in one: 5 stylish and durable pairs of sneakers for all times

One of the main criteria by which we usually choose sneakers, and in general any shoes, is quality. However, it’s hard to find “the one” pair that will last for more than one season without looking like rough army boots. That’s why together with our friends from Solemate we share with you a selection of stylish and at the same time durable models.

New Balance 574

The 574 model is a trademark of the brand. The history of these sneakers dates back to the 1980s. Runner Dick Beardsley finished second in the 1982 Boston Marathon in just such a pair of New Balance red.

The popularity of the model is easy to explain. It combines those qualities and properties that make consumers trust the company for decades. We are talking about comfort, soft material, cushioning and stabilization thanks to ENCAP technology.

ENCAP is an abbreviation of the English word encapsulation. The term refers to providing impermeability to liquids or gases.

English immigrant William Riley, founder of New Balance, in 1906 moved from the production of orthopedic shoes to the creation of the most comfortable sneakers for the mass audience. His idea of a design with support on three points in the heel area became the very “New Balance”. The Englishman was inspired by the chicken foot, which also has three points of support.

Adidas Samba

Samba, undoubtedly, can be attributed to the iconic sneaker models not only of the adidas brand, but also of the entire industry. They appeared back in 1950, but they managed to gain worldwide recognition only when the pair moved from the soccer field to soccer “terraces”. This is how the stands at stadiums were called in the UK. It was there that the fashion of casuals – soccer fans of England in the 70s – originated.

The model was created by Adi Dassler himself. It was originally conceived as a purely soccer sneaker, with the signature rubberized sole, which allowed better control of the ball in bad weather conditions. In addition, the sneakers were ideal for indoor training and on varnished parquet.

Thanks to the original design, functionality and durability Samba became a masthead not only for athletes, but also for all fashionistas and soccer fans.

Nike Air Force 1 Low

The name of the legendary model was given in honor of “flight number one” – the plane of the US President. The first pair of the line was Nike Air Force 1 High. They were designed for basketball players: with a widened sole for better stability, a special sole with concentric circles for excellent traction with the floor during turns, as well as Air cushion in the heel.

Only 12 years after the release of the first version, the Nike Air Force 1 Low and Nike Air Force 1 Mid were available for sale. Designer Bruce Kilgore based the silhouette on trekking boots, which are known for durability, practicality and comfort.

Sneakers line Nike Air Force 1 can rightly be called durable, because not every pair of shoes can pass the test of basketball game with quite aggressive techniques on the floor.
