What clothes should you not work out in?

When choosing sportswear, the first thing you should consider is comfort. Take into account not only the size, but also the quality of the materials. You should not skimp on your own body. Some fabrics, such as pure cotton, should be avoided altogether.

In order not to be in an uncomfortable position during training, together with stylist Anastasia Akatieva, we understand what things should not be worn for training.

Choose only the clothes that inspire you and give you the opportunity to go to the workout – you have to like yourself.

Faded, neutral sets

Clothes aren’t just a cover we put on when we leave the house. It affects us psychologically and is responsible for comfort and confidence. Colors also help to set a certain mood. Therefore, when choosing clothes for the hall, take this into account. Pale, dim clothes can be a cause of failure, and an abundance of red color increases heart rate and affects blood pressure.

Color has a certain “power”, it gives you the opportunity to be energized. If you come to work out in a beige suit, your result is likely to be zero, because beige color sets you up for rest. There are special bright colors that provoke that state where we can take strength and exercise in resource.

Too loose form

Tight, sculpting clothing has become popular lately. Try to limit its use. No matter how beautifully it sits, it will still stiffen your movements and deprive you of comfort.

But you shouldn’t choose a too loose shape either – it will be hot, and its edges may get caught on the exercise equipment. Ideal for running, stretching, yoga, athletics and cycling will be tights. Unlike leggings, they allow better air flow and also have a compression effect – they support the muscles.

Everyone chooses the degree of tightness himself, based on comfort. Of course, loose-fitting clothes are not intended for sports. A high degree of tightness gives more opportunities for movement, so you should choose such options for training.

Clothing made of natural materials

Our grandmothers appreciate natural fabrics as perfectly breathable and lightweight. Despite this, do not choose them for sports. Cotton quickly gets wet and becomes heavy, sticks to the body and restricts movement. In addition, it looks unaesthetic.

Instead of natural materials, use synthetic or mixed. They do not get wet, better retain their shape and excellent air permeability. But, of course, do not forget that here, too, you need to pay attention to the proportions in the composition.

In any product should be the right ratio of natural and artificial materials. Pure cotton can not be worn – it quickly stretches and it easily leaves traces, and percent synthetics can be, only if it is a special fiber designed for athletes.

Old sneakers

Knee injuries are often the reason for the end of both professional and amateur training. This can occur due to improperly fitted shoes. It is categorically not worth it to pull out for sports old, seen kinds of sneakers. Their sole is not light and soft enough, which can injure not only the knees, but also the Achilles tendons.

Also, the “sock” sneakers should not be bulky and not dense, the material – breathable, so that inside does not accumulate unpleasant odor. Usually, the sole of running sneakers and models for the gym are made of phyllite, and their heel is higher than the rest of the part. The stylist notes that you should choose shoes only based on the sport you are engaged in.

In addition to properly selected sneakers, use special shock-absorbing insoles, which will reduce the risk of injury.

Ordinary bra

Do not skimp on sports underwear. Not only will it help you feel more confident, but it will also prevent you from getting injured. Ordinary bras do not have the proper amount of support and can cause injuries. Ossicles easily tear the fabric, and in addition, sports without sports bra leads to deformation of mammary glands, which will be especially noticeable on large breasts.

When choosing a bodice, pay attention not only to the girth and size of the cup, but also to the shape, features, seams and degree of support.
