Such a list can go on ad infinitum, but let’s look at each of the directions in more detail.
Crossfit sneakers
Crossfit is an extreme system of general physical training based on alternating, sometimes randomly, basic movements performed with high intensity.
Features of the choice of shoes for crossfit:
– stable sole. During the performance of strength exercises, stability and reliable fixation of the foot is important. That is why sneakers with foam or gel soles are not suitable for crossfit;
– traction. Extreme strength exercises require good traction;
– breathability. To prevent your feet from sweating during super-intensive complexes, shoes should have a mesh upper and allow good airflow.
Sneakers for fitness
There are a huge number of types of fitness, and new ones are constantly appearing. The similarity of all these directions is that they include aerobic exercise, fast movements, spins, jumps, performed at an intense pace.
Features of the choice of sneakers for fitness:
– Lightness. The lighter the sneakers, the more comfortable in them to move, jump, climb on the step or perform balance exercises;
– breathability. Usually fitness sneakers have a mesh upper, as this not only reduces the weight of the shoe, but also allows your feet to breathe;
– flexible and soft sole. The pliable sole allows the foot to move as naturally as possible. Fitness sneakers don’t need a lot of cushioning, as the impact of exercise is minimized. However, some softness of the sole does not hurt. In such sneakers you will be much more comfortable.
Sneakers for running
Here it is worth distinguishing that, as many types of running, so many sneakers. And sneakers for trail-running in the mountains are radically different from sneakers for the gym or lightweight marathon. But still all of them have a number of some similar features, which we will talk about below.
Features of the choice of sneakers for running on a track or flat surface:
– cushioning. Running shoes (except for some special models) necessarily have shock absorption. It should be in the heel part of the sole, it also happens in the toe. All manufacturers of quality running shoes indicate the presence and position of shock-absorbing inserts;
– softness and flexibility. The sole and upper of the sneaker should definitely be flexible and soft in the front part of it;
– running sneakers are never made of leather or other poorly breathable materials;
– lightness. The weight of a pair of sneakers should not exceed 400 grams.
But that’s not all. The fact that sneakers are suitable for running in principle does not mean that they are good for you. There are several factors to consider.
