You’ll only get better: 8 tips from fitness gurus

Last weekend was the closing of the month dedicated to women’s sports at adidas BASEMOSCOW in Gorky Park. One of the weekends we managed to attend an open lecture by Yulia Ushakova, five-time champion of Russia, absolute European champion, champion of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic tournament, Honored Master of Sports of Russia and holder of the Miss Figure Olympia 2015 title. In our selection we have gathered 8 thoughts from Yulia, each of which can help you reconsider your attitude to the training process and transition to proper nutrition.

Fast does not mean good

In theory, you can always achieve fast results, but you must realize that fast results are a big sacrifice for your health. Anything that happens in the long run: daily workouts, a systematic transition to proper nutrition – it will stay with you much longer.

A healthy foundation

Always try to get your kids into sports at an early age. I’ve been involved in sports all my life and now, even in a somewhat relaxed state, I feel that foundation and that base. It’s much easier for a person whose life has sports in it all the time to get back in shape.

Artificial stress

If a person just eats, trains and can’t gain muscle mass – then this scheme doesn’t work, then some kind of stress is needed. You just need to turn on your head and come up with something unexpected. Something that the body can not understand. For example, go on a diet, a normal protein-fat diet for a couple weeks. After that, let it go back to eating whatever it was eating before. And then when your body gets really scared for a couple weeks and decides that the hungry times have come, when you can only eat breast and then relax, it will finally start to digest food properly.

Laws of the body

Our body always obeys two simple laws: inertia – sometimes you need to push yourself to something, go through difficult times, get used to it and then the process will start and continue to work on its own, and compensation – everything that you do not get in certain periods of life, in the future you will be compensated in full.

A diet that will change you

I generally believe that people who have been on a diet at least once will never be the same. And if you do not have a strong need to lose weight, it is better not to start severely restricting yourself. Because all that you will not get during this period, your body will compensate itself. Any carbohydrate calories will start working against you.

See what’s in moderation

Always try to listen to the opinions of your loved ones. Maybe you are not as fat as you think you are, and it’s just a problem of lack of harmony with your body.

You’re not the one with the broad bone

Fat isn’t just what’s under your skin, it’s not just what “pops out” in unwanted places. Fat is also the stuff that sits between organs and helps cushion the internal organs when we run, jump, bump or even just move. The amount of fat can be corrected solely by proper diet.

Food Junk

The most important thing is to eliminate all fast food from your diet. If you want a beautiful body, you will have to put up with it.
