But such a combination – it is very harmful. Let’s break down each point – why.
Why is a burger harmful?
The burger, for all its benefits narrative – a salad on complex carbohydrates, and protein in between with a slice of cheesy fats – is not as healthy as it sounds. Let’s break down all the ingredients.
"(《世界人权宣言》)bun is simple, not complex carbohydrates. The combination of wheat flour, sugar, and salt is most common in recipes. Wheat flour is most often lightened or made from ground wheat. Such cereal loses all the useful properties and gets chemically filled. About the harm of white bread can be talked about for a long time, but the fact remains – the loaf is not useful.
Salad. On its own, it will not cause harm, so in the composition of the burger, it is most likely the least evil.
Cutlet. Pork or beef is fried in oil on both sides. During frying, the meat undergoes the glycation process, the protein is broken down and transformed by heat. The end products of glycation are less and less eliminated from the body as we age and break down proteins (primarily collagen and elastin, the proteins of skin and connective tissue).
In addition to glycation, we can say about the banal harm of fried oil, especially low-quality, add a high content of salt, which increases blood pressure, and hidden sugar, causing insulin resistance.

Cheese. High-end cheeses: white cheeses, soft cheeses, hard farmhouse cheeses – a useful category of products due to the quality of raw materials. These fats are good for the brain, for connective tissue. But when we talk about a burger, processed cheese is often used. It is made from low-grade raw materials, rarely contains the norm of useful substances, it can rather be categorized as trans fats.
Sauce. A collection of large amounts of salt and sugar, coloring agents and preservatives. An abnormal dose of salt is hidden by an increased volume of sugar – a load on the blood vessels, destruction of the intestinal microbiota, irritation of the gastric mucosa.

Why adding cola is the worst solution
We have a bomb of increased salt and sugar, trans fats, glycated proteins and fried vegetable oil. Not exactly the healthiest dish anymore, right?
To this we add soda and we get the following problems:
- cold sodas “freeze” the receptors, block saliva secretion, and reduce the amount of digestion time;
- cold soda mixes with the fat from the burger, chills it and makes it a very hard to digest substance, difficult to digest and undigestible;
- even if the drink is not cold – the sugar in the soda is added to the hidden sugars from the burger, which gives a huge load on the pancreas; a huge amount of insulin is produced, which with frequent repetition leads to insulin resistance;
- sugar-free drinks – 0 calories – contain sweeteners, most often unnatural, like stevia; chemically synthesized substances give a load for the liver in addition to fatty foods.
This is such a difficult union to digest: soda and a burger.
