Entry allowed: which countries can I travel to without a visa?

Very soon the vacation season will begin, which means that the question of where to go will arise. But many people are afraid of the difficulties that will arise in connection with the registration of passports, obtaining visas, and in general with traveling abroad. We have collected a list of countries for which these documents will not be needed, and described in detail what you can see there.

Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is located in the eastern part of Transcaucasia on the coast of the Caspian Sea. This state belongs to the Middle East, West Asia and partly to Eastern Europe.

One of the first places that tourists should visit is the Maiden Tower in Baku. This building is considered a landmark of the city and is located near the coastal part of the so-called “Old City”. Its purpose is still one of the main secrets for archaeologists. Legend has it that the tower was built as a temple of fire.

No less beautiful attraction is the Bibi-Eybat Mosque. It is a significant monument of Islamic architecture on the shore of Baku Bay. It was built in the XIII century. The architects took the principles of the classical Shirvan school as a basis, so the temple consists of two massive minarets and three domes. The decoration is dominated by emerald and white colors, moderately diluted with noble gilded accents. As on the ceiling, traditional calligraphic inscriptions can be seen on the walls.

Antigua and Barbuda

For lovers of islands you can recommend the state in the West Indies, located on three islands: Antigua, Barbuda and Redonda. The largest island is Antigua, it is also the main tourist center with 365 beaches. Its infrastructure keeps up with modernity: there you will find hotels, nightclubs, entertainment complexes, casinos.

The second largest island is Barbuda, completely coral, with magnificent nature, preserved in pristine condition. Architecture lovers will not get bored there. They should stroll through the town of St. John’s, where there are still old defensive buildings and colonial mansions in Fort James. It was built in the XVIII century for defense against the French invaders. Today, the only reminders of the past are the surviving cannons, but the view of the harbor surpasses all expectations.

Those who came with their families should visit the very cute and touching donkey orphanage. Nightlife enthusiasts will enjoy the raucous Sunday night parties in Shirley Heights.

In Antigua and Barbuda, everyone can find an outlet and have a great time!

Georgia

This place is characterized by hospitality and toasts, the rugged beauty of mountain temples and the authentic atmosphere of old Tbilisi’s taverns, lezginka and the simple-minded art of Pirosmani. It is these features that attract many travelers.

Getting to know Georgia will leave a trace of incredible beauty in everyone’s heart, which will beckon you to return time after time. All that remains is to plan your trip.

But you should take into account an important point: if you have marks in your passport about visiting Abkhazia or South Ossetia, you will be denied entry to Georgia. And if you try to enter through these countries, it may be considered as an illegal border crossing.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica, as its name suggests (translated from Spanish as “Rich Coast”), is rich in everything at once: two oceans – Pacific and Atlantic, exotic black-sand beaches, nature reserves, volcanoes and mountains. And the capital San Jose is located in the very center of the country.

If for centuries all roads lead to Rome, then in Costa Rica lead all the highways, trails and unpaved roads, on which you can get directly into the kingdom of wildlife, clear waterfalls, misty lakes that lurk at the bottom of extinct volcanic craters.

Not far from San Jose is Alajuela, the second largest city in the country. Butterfly farms, the Belt Volcano and the museum, which is located right in the building of the former prison, are waiting for visitors.

Well, the north-western part of Costa Rica, perhaps, will be the most interesting for tourists. In addition, here you can also find hot springs Tabacon, waterfalls Catarata de la Fortuna, the national park “Manuel Antonio”, the famous “island of turtles” Tortuga and, of course, the formidable volcano Arenal with the lake of the same name. It was dormant for 300 years, but at the end of the 60s of the last century woke up so that it did not seem a little. All this awaits you in Costa Rica.
