Approaching winter is no reason to stay at home. The next month will be rich in sporting events, so we plan to celebrate the frosty season actively. Moscow will host international fitness and bodybuilding competitions for the first time, Yekaterinburg will close the running season with a half-marathon, and the Northern Capital will host the final tournament of the ACA league. Crowdsourcing project “City of Sports”

When? November 20-29
Where: Moscow

A new interactive online project is launching in the capital, which aims to improve the sports sphere in Moscow. “City of Sports” will take place in three stages: “Suggest”, “Discuss” and “Evaluate”. At the first stage Muscovites will be able to express individual wishes and suggestions on the organization of sports events, sections and informing sports life in the capital. At the second stage active residents of the city will take part in discussions, and at the third stage they will vote for the best ideas. The proposals, which will be responded to by the largest number of participants, will be realized.

Moscow WRF Sprint 2019

When. November 23
Where: Znamensky Brothers Olympic Center, Moscow
Distances: 3km / 1.5km / 400m / 200m / 60m / shot put / long jump

Tired of marathons and big kilometers? The Moscow Sprint will definitely suit fans of short distances. The organizers offer participants to choose between races from 60 m to 3 km. In addition to running competitions, the program of the event includes long jump and shot put. In these disciplines not only adults, but also children aged 10 years and older will be able to test their strength.

Those who want to spend the coming Saturday on the run, we advise to hurry up. The number of available spots to participate is limited.

IFBB PRO LEAGUE International Championships

When. November 30
Where? Izmailovo Concert Hall, Moscow

For the first time in Moscow will be held a championship in fitness and bodybuilding among adult athletes and juniors with professional qualification. At the end of the event seven IFBB PRO League professional cards will be raffled off. The lucky winners will also receive an invitation to apply for a visa to the USA to participate in prestigious competitions on another continent.

The championship is unique in that it is open to athletes from all countries.
Before the competition, athletes can choose a suitable category for themselves: fitness, body fitness, classic, beach bodybuilding or bikini. And both men and women will compete in each of them.

FONBET Children’s Sledge Hockey League Festival

Soon the Olympic city will host the second edition of the Children’s Sledge Hockey League Festival. Sledge hockey is a Paralympic version of classic ice hockey. The team children’s festival will be not just a tournament for little athletes, but a big family holiday. Team players, their parents and friends will be able to participate in it. Young hockey players will be able to meet like-minded people from different parts of Russia and get game practice. And, of course, a bright opening ceremony and a lot of exciting activities are waiting for all the guests!

The matches of the festival will be held on ice arenas, which are adapted for people with disabilities.

Winter Half Marathon “Europe-Asia”

On the first day of winter in the heart of the Urals the last of four starts of the running series “EUROPE-ASIA” will take place. More than 2500 participants from 12 countries are already planning to run with a chill. Each athlete will receive a branded warm hat, gifts and discounts from partners, as well as a commemorative finisher’s medal. Union State Sambo Cup

The Union State Cup is a great reason to plunge into the world of martial arts and spend a weekend in the intriguing atmosphere of competitions. You will be able to see a spectacular fight of 16 strongest athletes: world and European champions from Russia, Belarus, Romania, Georgia, France, Latvia and other countries. Sambo wrestlers will not only fight for the title of the strongest and demonstrate their techniques, but also share their personal experience at special master classes, meet with young athletes and hold photo and autograph sessions.

ACA 103″ tournament

When? December 14
Where? Sibur Arena, St. Petersburg

In mid-December, the final tournament of the ACA league will take place in the Northern Capital. In the main fight of the evening will meet Alexey Butorin from St. Petersburg and mixed martial arts champion Dovletjan Yagshimuradov, who is currently on a seven-fight winning streak. The second most anticipated bout will be the meeting between Francisco De Lima Maciel and Rustam Kerimov, the champion who will defend his title right at the tournament. In addition, martial arts fans are looking forward to the return of Marat “Motivator” Balaev – and it will happen at ACA 103!

Winter is no reason to be discouraged! A cheerful costumed Space Carnival race will help to get rid of gloom, to close the running season in Korolev and to spend the weekend with benefit. By the way, you can come to the start with the whole family. The organizers included in the program children’s races at 400 and 800 m, which will be attended by young runners from 4 to 11 years old. And those who do not want to cover the distance alone, can choose the start “Sunny” – for children with parents.
