History of glamping

Glamping is a kind of camping, that is, vacation in nature. It is distinguished by increased comfort. Instead of ordinary tents you will be waiting for their improved versions or even houses with all amenities, but they will also be located in the forest or on the shore of a picturesque body of water.

It is believed that the very first such comfortable camp appeared almost 20 years ago in the UK, and that’s where the name came from. Glamping is an abbreviation of English glamorous camping, i.e. “glamorous camp”.

As for our capital, the trend did not reach here at once, but quickly enough enveloped all the most beautiful natural locations. Let’s tell you about interesting glamping sites in the Moscow region.

Cost: accommodation and breakfast for two people per day will cost 10 500 rubles, the option with dinner included is a bit more expensive – 13 500 rubles.

Accommodation with pets: allowed. For a fee and by prior agreement with the manager at the time of booking.

For accommodation here is a spacious tent of 20 m², there is a shower with a cosmetic kit and a sleeping place (there is a choice of both double bed and single beds). Each marquee has its own terrace with a furnished seating area. Throughout the weekend you will be accompanied by the sounds of nature, and the caring staff will replenish the tea and apples.

“Wili Beehive”

Cost: one night for two people with breakfast – 19 500 rubles on weekdays and 21 500 rubles on weekends, three meals a day for everyone will cost another 4000 rubles for one night.

Accommodation with pets: allowed. A one-time fee of 1,500 rubles is charged for all animals.

This is an ideal place for an active vacation, here you can play basketball, go on a bike ride, swim on sapas or on boats on the Oka. For a more measured rest there is an open-air cinema and a bathhouse, two hours in which will cost 6500 rubles. Accommodation with pets: allowed. However, in the case of dogs there are restrictions: small breeds of dogs are allowed, no more than 40 cm in the withers, fighting breeds are not allowed on the territory.
