If you get enough vitamins from your diet, cosmetic products with vitamins are a good addition. But there are nuances.

The most popular ones are:

  • vitamin C: a strong antioxidant, activates cell metabolism, slows down the aging process, participates in collagen production;
  • vitamin A: better known as retinol, stimulates cells, helps fight acne and wrinkles, protects against free radicals;
  • vitamin B3: usually in the form of niacinamide, also works on age-related changes, stimulates elastin synthesis, evens skin tone, reduces inflammation;
  • vitamin E: has anti-inflammatory, moisturizing properties, and also relieves irritation.

Vitamin levels in the blood are directly related to the beauty and youthfulness of the skin. But beauty products alone are not enough. Why?

Irina: It is impossible to make up for vitamin deficiencies through the skin, as most of them do not penetrate into the blood (the exception is vitamin A, because of this it is not recommended to use products with retinol during pregnancy and planning).

Where to look for vitamins then

The best solution is a complex exposure. In this case, you can not drink vitamins at random. Overdose is no less dangerous than deficiency. The most competent tactic – to consult with a doctor and take tests for the level of vitamins and trace elements, to select dosages of only those substances that are not enough for you. And continue to monitor the level of vitamins at least once a year.

Irina: Without replenishing the true deficiencies, the effect of cosmetics will be short-lived, and if you stop using creams, you will face the same problems. The beauty of the skin comes from within, and it is impossible to achieve the desired result with cosmetics alone. Nevertheless, if you get enough vitamins from your diet and have no deficiencies, cosmetics with vitamins are a good solution.
